The Friends of Deep Eddy has been helping improve the facilities and operations of Deep Eddy Pool and Elders Park since 2003. Over the years we have helped:
Raise Funds for and help plan the bathhouse renovation in 2008.
Enhance the grounds in semi-annual volunteer days.
Provide treats and investments in break room facilities to support and encourage lifeguards & staff.
Funded new wells and well maintenance to keep the pool supplied with fresh spring water.
Updated signage to improve the visitor experience.
Advocated with Austin Parks & Recreation with citizen perspectives regarding improvements in facilities operations and parking.
